Tove Hasselriis Abrams graduated Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Originally pursuing research for muscular dystrophy, she changed careers-and began her involvement with video in 1984. Her path since then has been a varied one. She has shot many weddings, concerts in China of choral works, stand-up comics and actresses in New York City, business and sports demos, special events-and many more unusual affairs. Multi-talented and multi-faceted, Ms. Abrams has lent her musical performance expertise to her video work. She is now expanding her "Memories in Motion" concept to include the production of personal/family histories and experiences-along with many types of duplication services. Ms. Abrams is a longtime member of the Long Island Videographers Association and a current Board member. She has been honored by Islip Township for Outstanding Achievement in Performing Arts during Women's History Month in 1987. She has also sat on the Boards of the Islip Arts Council, the Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts, and the Sayville Music Boosters Association. In recent years, Ms. Abrams has expanded her love of photography into the business, shooting photos and video with the new HD-SLR cameras.She studied nature photography at Cornell, is a member of the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology, and is also a member of NAPP-the National Asociation of Photoshop Professionals.
